Broward Workshop members and their guest attended a webinar on Thursday, May 27, 2021 for Broward Workshop's 13th Annual State of the County Forum.

The webinar was moderated by City Furniture CEO and Broward Workshop Chair, Keith Koenig.

This year’s forum provided Workshop members and their guests with a comprehensive COVID-19 healthcare update by our leading hospital CEOS. Broward County mayor Steven Geller, Broward County School Board Chair Dr. Rosalind Osgood, and Visit Lauderdale President & CEO Stacy Ritter provided updates on issues facing the county. Dr. Jerry Parrish, Chief Economist & Director of Research at the Florida Chamber Foundation shared with attendees an overview of the state’s economic benchmarks.

The esteemed keynote speaker was the Hon. Debbie Wasserman-Shultz, Congresswoman serving Florida’s 23rd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Mrs. Wasserman-Shultz offered remarks on a wide range of topics including the American Recovery Act as well as the infrastructure bill currently making its way through congress.
